''Pirandèlo Suona'' is a multiplicity of voices. Its personal style frees from a mere formality. Synergy between digital and analogic worlds creates original and essencial structures. An harmonic sound is made up of glitch, pop and jazz influences and destructured sounds. Nine tracks where whispered sounds, soft melodies and micro-flatters outline a world with its own spaces and times. The sound draws warm and candid (''onde scarlatte'') or crude and biting '('Aus mud'') atmospheres. The flute of ''Life could be beauty enough'' translates the vespertine sensations in beauty and harmony, not only aesthetic. The voice itself makes pure sound or creates a bridge between the daily life and its representation (''Disegno'').

‘Cold Storage’ began with an invitation to produce a site-specific work in the Ostiense area of Rome. During my first visit I was shown around the old General Market warehouse zone on the banks of the river Tiber. I decided to work in a large brick vaulted cellar, previously used as a cold storage room. This context became the theme for my installation and concert. Using a mic and contact mic, I then collected sounds relating to ‘cold’ and ‘storage’ while travelling around Rome, Switzerland, Portugal and Australia. These were edited and simply modified using mini disc, pedals and Mackie mixer. During the opening concert I then improvised this material by touch in the blacked out vault. Dim shadows flickered around sound reactive insectocutor lights that I installed on a market trolley and in a refrigerated display case at each end of the room. It proved to be a very cathartic, intense and enjoyable experience for me. The sounds that emerged seem to exist in a ‘white music’ spectrum emotionally. For this final CD version, I re-improvised much of the original material and re-edited it on screen with no further computer trickery, keeping it close to the source material. This is my first release that I recommend is best played louder for a more detailed and immersive experience.

Performed at the last Sonar Sound Festival of Rome on 2003, this work rises up from the collaboration between Mass (from the DSP recordings label) and Bianco-Valente, one of the most interesting Italian visual artists duo. In the DVD is reported a continuous journey, divided in six audio/video tracks, characterized by the use of vivid colours together with a wide range of audio frequencies producing enlarged sensorial stimuli. The use of randomness and dysfunctionings create a warm flow of abstract data textures, that combined with minimal pulses and intense repetitions make of “Self Organizing Structures” an intimate work that investigates on one hand the error possibilities and on the other hand the emotional relations existing between frequencies and colours, intensity and luminosity.
